If you are looking around for a fun casual shooter for WP7 them this probably might be the game you are looking for. Twitter Hunter is a new Windows Phone 7 game by JOJO Mobile sp. z o.o, the birds that are in the neighborhood likes to poop all around you place and you ain’t too happy about it , and you own a gun.. need I say more ? that pretty much sums up the story for Twitter Hunter.

When you launch the game you do have the option to change the difficulty , toggle sound / hints. There is an Local leader board to keep track of your high score. There is a basic tutorial which with you some instruction on how to play and then you are thrown into a game. Armed with your trusted gun you are out for revenge against these birds, the game-play is quite nice. You touch on the screen to shoot, so when you click on a bird you blow it to smithereens. You have limited time to reload you weapon and you do this by shaking your device. There are a few background that rotates as you progress through each level and you have limited time to deal with every bird. There is a small counter on each bird and once it hits 0 the bird poops and you lose a life. As you shoot you will also notice there will be some blood splatter at times , so I will not recommend this for the young ones. At times you will find that some of the bird might be hiding behind the scores section ( top right ) which can be annoying , if you miss them ;)

You have access to 3 power-ups :

1. Heart : If you lose a life this will fill it back up
2. Bullet : Gives you an extra bullet for your gun
3. Machine Gun : Click and drag to spray bullets all over the place , it will only last for a couple of second but is a really handy powerup.

Unfortunately these is no way to pause a game and resume it at a later time, but if you jump out of a game using the home button, you can hit the back button and resume the existing game. The game is quite good for an initial release but do hope to see more content in the future , my recommendation would be

• more birds with different ability eg : a bird that requires 2 shot before it dies , on the first shot it will lose its feathers and the next shot kills it.
• A grenade power up that clears the screen of all birds.
• Weapons with different effects : flame thrower that roasts the bird, freeze gun that covers then in a block of ice, electric gun that zaps them and displays their skeleton, etc
• Instead of the counter on each bird , I would rather see some visual indicator like the bird change color progressively from blue to red or perhaps they start flapping their wings slowly and gradually increase speed, or something like that
