Triangula offers a new twist to the classic pencil and paper game of Connect the Dots. Instead of the usual squares you have to form triangles in this version of the game. The player whose triangles cover the largest area at the end of the game, wins the game. Trust me when I say it’s a lot harder than it sounds. Check out the gameplay video and features of this Free Windows Phone 7 game.

Triangula offers single or two player mode. The two player mode is on a same device and does not work over the network. There are 3 modes of difficulty available Beginner, Intermediate and Expert. The user also has the ability to select the size of the play area

  1. Small ( 3×3 )
  2. Medium ( 4×4 )
  3. Large ( 5×6 )
  4. Maximum ( 5×7 )

The game offers some nice control you click on a dot to select it and the game will automatically show all the dots it can connect to , you can re-click the dot to de-select it. There are a few simple rules that you have to follow

  • A line can’t cross other lines or go through other dots.
  • Only triangles formed by three direct dots count as valid triangles

The game supports tombstoning so you can get back to a game using the back button if you jump out of it but there is no options to save a game so you can return to it at a later stage. This could be something that the dev could include in future versions. Other other thing I would like to see is multiplayer over the network using push notifications. Overall it is a nice Free casual game for Windows Phone 7 gamers.
