How to Submit an Windows Phone 7 Games for Review / Press Release

[NOTE]When you submit an game please include the following ( ones in bold are compulsory and entries without them will probably be ignored ). Send in all the info requested below to admin@1800pocketpc.com[/NOTE]

FREE : send in the requested info ( see below ) and we will take a look at the app , if we think its a unique app that our readers will enjoy we will push out a press release or a review for FREE , we can’t guarantee a review / press release will be published for all the submissions received. If a submission was not published within a month if probably would have been ignored. You can resubmit it after a month.

Press Release : We push out a press release within 3 days ( usually within 24 hrs ) of receiving the payment. This will include the Marketplace description / any other info you choose to submit , 2 or 5 screenshots available from the marketplace , download link to the app, if you submit a video we will include that, if you have a website we will link to that and also mention you on twitter.

Featured Review : We give it the works , a full review published on BestWP7Games.com and we will also add the apps screenshots available from the marketplace and the link to download the app. If you have a website we will link to that and also mention you on twitter. Expected time of delivery is within 7 – 14 days.

2. Some screenshots – ( preferably not the same as the marketplace ones ) – must be resized to : width 270 x 450 height when in portrait mode, around 5 screenshots would be ideal. Naming the screenshots appropriately ( gameplay, splash screen, leaderboard, etc) is appreciated
3. Logo for the game – 150×150
4. If a trial is available plz let us know what the limitations are
5. Zune deep link url
6. Video if available
7. If there are some standout features in your game plz don’t hesitate to mention it
8. Any thing else that you want our readers to know

Please understand that you will not be given any control over the content of the review, we will NOT send it to you for your approval before its published, nor will you be given the authority to edit parts or whole of the review. Once we review a game it will be published , even if the game performed poorly in the review it will be published and we will let our readers know about it . That said if we find an game that has a particular problem .. eg : it crashes every time we load the game, etc we will let you know about it so we can narrow down the source of the issue and once a fix is found we will get back to the review and will most likey mention it in the review.

Exclusive content will have additional exposure on our sidebar, the latest 6 exclusive titles will be showcased in the sidebar using the game logo. We can coordinate the coverage at the time of actual release ( if we are contacted well in advance ) .
