Awesome sheep is a physics based puzzle game for Windows Phone 7, the whole idea is to get your sheeps from the barn to the pasture in one piece. You enemy is gravity and if you make a wrong move your sheep will plummet to its death. It might sound easy but trust me its not. Today we take a look at the great new puzzler for Windows Phone 7.

Awesome sheep is a simple game it does not offer you a bunch of options to worry about , so you can jump right in to the game. You are presented with a level selector where you have access to 18 levels in the full version , the trial is limited to the first 3 levels. You unlock each new level in Awesome sheep by completing the one before it. The game offers in in game tutorial with the first level and it will guide you through the controls through a series of pop-up messages.

When you launch a level you will find that the levels are quite colorful but there is no background music when you start the actual game. In each level you have a set number of sheep that you have to safely guide across from the barn to the pasture. You have access to 5 move

Stop/Walk
Jump
Climb
Ram
Deploy Parachute

using these moves you have to guide your sheeps through the puzzle which could contain many obstacles, contraptions and switches. There is no way to control the direction the sheep moves in, once they hit an obstacles they will change the direction, this can be looked as one more level of difficulty rather than a missing feature. I like the game a lot but I was not a big fan of the asking price of $2.99 for 18 levels.
