Popper-2-WP7
If you are a Pocket PC user you might have come across a little old game called Jawbreaker and if you were a Windows Mobile user you might recall this game as Bubble Breaker, now this new game Popper 2 will remind you a bit about those game and the gameplay looks quite similar too but this new Windows Phone 7 game from @Bill Reiss who already has a similar game for the Browser and xBox. One thing that you will immediately notice ( if you are coming from WM ) is the rich graphics and colors and its good to know that the app supports a variety of skins. I don’t think user generated skins will be supported at this stage but personally I would love to see that option in there in the future.
From the Popper 2 WP7 gameplay video we cam make out 3 modes of gameplay that will be available to the users
- Frantic Fifty – race against time mode, get the maximum point in 50 sec
- Levels - multiple levels that increase in difficulty as you progress through them
- Marathon – pop till you drop.. you get the idea, keep going as long as you can
UPDATE : Video Review of the Popper 2 Game
The entire demo was showcased in landscape mode and we are not sure if portrait mode is supported. The game also features a hint and back button just in case you are stuck or need some help. The game supports 5 different themes and they all look quite nice, see the screenshots below. Hitting thr hardware back button will pause the game and you can continue the game later ( we are not sure if the save state will be maintained if we quit the app, Hey Bill if you read this plz let us know :) ).

Thanks for highlighting my game, no custom skins now but this is a good idea, would be pretty easy except for possibly the font.
On tombstoning (going to another app and hitting back button) the game will resume where it was. If re-launching after exiting with a game in progress, you will be notified there was a game in progress and asked if you want to continue.
There will also be some bonus tiles added before release, such as x2 multiplier and clear an entire row, or clear all of one color.
