If you love StarWars and tower defense games are your thing, then you will love the upcoming Windows Phone 7 Game from Fluffy Logic and THQ. This was one of the game that was announced for xBox Live on WP7.
A bit about the story behind the game : ( via wiki )
The Battle of Hoth was a major event and a major victory for the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War. The battle was an offensive by the Galactic Empire aimed at destroying the Rebel Alliance’s Echo Base hidden on the remote arctic world Hoth. The base’s location was compromised when a viper probe droid deployed by Darth Vader landed on Hoth. When the fleet commanded by Admiral Ozzel entered the Hoth system, the Admiral inadvertantely alerted the Alliance of the Imperial’s presence, giving the Rebels time to prepare for the necessary evacuation and raise the planetary shield.
The game is also available on the iphone and we expect the gameplay to be quite similar, the description of the game was as follows
Star Wars: The Battle for Hoth is a fast-paced tower-defense game that puts you in command of Echo Base’s defenses. Can you use guile, strategy and reflexes to defend Echo Base from attack? At your command are Infantry Units, Gun Towers, Snowspeeders and more. Facing you is an army of Droids, Snowtroopers and the terrifying AT-ATs.
