AE 3D Motor : a fantastic accelerometer racing game for Windows Phone

Every now and then you come across a game that shows other games how to make use of the accelerometer in games. Thankfully AE 3D Motor is one such game, AE 3D Motor is one of those casual game that does not have a lot to it when you look at gameplay but you keep coming back for more , simple because you enjoy playing the game.

The menu and settings are quite basic , there is a leaderboard in there which uses scoreloop so you can compare your rank with your friends on the scoreloop network. There is a tutotial that will run you through the game mechanics and controls .. which essentially tells you tilting the phone moves your rider and clisking on the screen will make the rider go fast.

You are on a motorcycle speeding your way across a 3 lane highway trying to stay alive by not crashing on the various motor vehicles or the sidewalks. You get points for going past each vehicles and you can get bonus points if you are speeding ( by touching on the screen ) . Initially you will find the other drives to be quite normal but over time they start to lose it and go zig-zag on the highway and your aim is to stay on your bike by not crashing in to any one of them . The graphics in this game is quite nice and you get 3 diffren scenic route the Sunshine Beaches, a desert track and a suspension bridge. ( if you look past how the landscape changes from a lush green beach front road to a road in the middle of a desert , there is some fun to be had with the title ).

I can see how the addition of upgradeable / unlock-able content can keep this game entertaining over longer period of time , because as it stands other than the push to get on top of the leaderboard the game will start to get repetitive over time ( but still enjoyable in short bursts )
